The total amount of ₹21.38 lakh was split into two components: ₹10.38 lakh raised through on‑site relief activities involving RWA students and volunteers, and ₹11 lakh contributed directly by Ankit Bhati Sir. The latter amount was handed over by cheque to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

RWA mobilised its student community to collect ₹10.38 lakh on the ground in Assam. Founder’s Personal Donation

Ankit Bhati Sir personally contributed ₹11 lakh to the relief effort. The cheque was presented to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on 26 August 2026 at Assam House in New Delhi, following his field visit.

Field Visit and Meeting with Chief Minister

On 19 August 2026, Ankit Bhati Sir visited flood‑affected locations in Assam, including Nazira, Nepalikhuti and Sivasagar, to assess damage and interact with affected communities. The visit informed the subsequent donation and reinforced the direct engagement component of the campaign. The meeting with the Chief Minister on 26 August formalised the transfer of the founder’s contribution.

Impact

The combined relief effort reached more than 485 families directly and over 1,000 people indirectly, demonstrating how an education‑focused organisation can mobilise students for disaster response.
