Rosmerta Digital Services Limited (RDSL) and the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to address vehicle compliance challenges through the launch of Rosmart, a digital compliance services platform available at Rosmart.com. The platform specifically targets the problem of pending traffic violations that complicate vehicle buying, selling, and transfer processes by providing citizens with a reliable digital channel to check violation details and resolve challans.
The initiative responds to the proliferation of unauthorized websites and online intermediaries that expose citizens to fraud and cybercrime risks when attempting to clear traffic violations. Rosmart.com offers both citizens and dealers a credible alternative, with customers able to access services directly through the website or by scanning QR codes available at participating dealerships. Dealers can upload cases in bulk or assist customers directly, making compliance requirements less disruptive to vehicle transactions.
The partnership aims to extend Rosmart across FADA's automotive retail network, which represents over 15,000 automobile dealerships with approximately 30,000 outlets employing about 5 million people. Rosmerta Digital Services brings pan-India reach and sector expertise from its parent group's experience supplying over 170 million High-Security Registration Plates and 150+ million Driving Licences and RCs across 10+ States and UTs.
According to Hariansh Nagpal, President of Rosmerta Digital Services, the platform aims to make everyday processes easier for people by creating a simple digital destination for compliance requirements. FADA President Sai Giridhar emphasized that unresolved challans particularly affect the pre-owned vehicle business, where vehicles may have violations originating from multiple cities or states, making identification and resolution cumbersome for both customers and dealers.
