RuleMudra Digital Lending Platform Launch
RuleMudra, a technology‑driven lending platform operated by TwoMinutes Fintech Private Limited, announced the launch of a fully digital service that facilitates short‑term personal loans for Indian borrowers. The platform targets individuals facing unexpected expenses such as medical emergencies, delayed payments, travel, education, rent or other family needs.
Eligible customers can apply via a smartphone, complete verification, review loan terms and receive funds directly into their bank accounts. Loan amounts range from ₹5,000 to ₹1 lakh, determined by eligibility, income, repayment capacity and the credit policy of the RBI‑regulated lending partners.
The platform partners with Decimus Financial Limited and Basel Investments Limited, both licensed by the Reserve Bank of India, which perform the final credit assessment and disbursement. Verification may include PAN, Aadhaar, credit‑bureau data, income assessment, bank‑account verification, video KYC or liveness checks, and where consented, Account Aggregator‑supported data.
RuleMudra combines digital verification, automated decision support and paper‑less e‑contracting while retaining all required KYC, income and credit checks. Borrowers can view a Key Fact Statement that details the approved amount, Annual Percentage Rate (APR), fees, taxes and repayment schedule before digitally accepting the offer. An online RuleMudra Loan Calculator allows users to estimate the EMI, interest payable, total repayment and applicable charges based on the requested amount and tenure, though the exact figures depend on the final offer.
The Managing Director, Mr Lavit Dighe, explained that the platform aims to balance speed with responsible lending, stating that “instant” or “quick” refer to the efficiency of the digital process and do not guarantee approval. He emphasized that borrowers should assess the genuine need for the expense and ensure repayment fits within their monthly budget.
After launch, RuleMudra plans to expand its pool of licensed lending partners, enhance automation‑led decision support, personalize customer journeys and promote financial education on credit and repayment. The company reaffirmed its commitment to customer consent, data security, regulatory compliance and transparent communication.
Important disclaimer: Loans are subject to eligibility, KYC, credit rating, repayment capability and the policies of the financing organisation; disbursement timing is not assured, and “instant,” “quick” and “zero paperwork” describe potential speed and paperless nature, not guaranteed approval.
