Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) announced it has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a domestic railway electrification project.
The EPC contract, valued at ₹129.46 crore, involves design, supply, and commissioning of traction sub-stations for the North Eastern Railway.
The project, to be executed over 730 days, is in the Varanasi-Prayajgraj section and is part of normal business operations.
The company confirmed the contract is not a related party transaction and promoters have no interest in the awarding entity.
