Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for cooperation in multiple areas of rail infrastructure development. The scope of cooperation includes:
- Development, upgradation, renovation and construction of rail infrastructure
- Connectivity projects to DVC's power plants
- Connectivity to DVC's captive coal mining areas
- Associated Rapid Loading Systems (RLS/CHP/SILO)
- Retractable overhead electrification (OHE) systems
The announcement specifies that this MoU signing is in the ordinary course of business for RVNL.
