Overview
On 7 July 2026, Ryan Group of Institutions launched the opening of its Golden Jubilee celebrations by staging an original musical production titled The Mumbai Revue at the Studio Theatre of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. The event marked fifty years of the Group’s presence in K‑12 education and was presented as a showcase of the institution’s commitment to holistic learning, integrating performing arts with academic excellence.
Event Details
The production brought together 28 students from various Ryan campuses across Mumbai who had participated in an intensive four‑day Performance Lab. The Lab, designed to introduce young performers to professional musical‑theatre standards, covered acting, vocal performance, movement, stagecraft, audition techniques and ensemble rehearsals. The training was overseen by internationally trained multidisciplinary artist and director Tiara Oberoi, for whom this was a directorial debut. The live show featured eight songs, opening with a rendition of “Any Dream Will Do,” and included a solo performance by Oberoi of “She Used to Be Mine” from the Broadway musical Waitress, accompanied on piano by Anaya Grace.
Attendance and Reception
The evening was attended by senior leadership of the Group: Dr. Grace Pinto, Managing Director; Dr. Snehal Pinto, Director; Ms. Sonal Pinto, Director; and Ms. Liz Samuel.
