Safety Controls & Devices Limited has received a Letter of Intent/Letter of Award from U.P. Power Transmission Corporation Limited (UPPTCL), a Government of Uttar Pradesh Undertaking, dated October 21, 2026. Scope of Work: Engineering, Supply, Erection, Testing, and Commissioning of 01 No. 220kV GIS Bay and 01 No. 33kV GIS Bay on Turn-Key Basis. This includes erection and commissioning of 01 No. 60MVA Power Transformer to be provided by UPPTCL for capacity enhancement from 360MVA (3x60 MVA) to 4x60 MVA at Existing 220kV GIS Substation Kanpur Road, Lucknow.

Contract Value: Total consideration of ₹10,15,69,374.00 (Rupees Ten Crore Fifteen Lakh Sixty-Nine Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy-Four Only) inclusive of GST @18%.

  • Supply of Equipments & Materials (Net): ₹29,84,50,996.72
  • Handling, Erection, Testing & Commissioning Works (Net after 30% discount): ₹13,68,698.52

Execution Timeline: Six (06) months from the date of LOI/LOA or from the date of handing over of site/land, whichever is later.

Key Contract Terms

Performance Guarantee: Contract Performance Bank Guarantee (CPBG) of 10% of total contract value (including GST) to be furnished from a Nationalized/Scheduled Bank within 28 days of LOI/LOA issuance, valid up to 45 days post completion of guarantee period.

Liquidated Damages: Delay beyond scheduled completion will attract LD @ 0.5% per week of the contract value (excluding GST), capped at a maximum of 5% of the contract value (excluding GST).

Advance Payment: Optional interest-bearing mobilization advance @ 5% against 110% Advance Bank Guarantee and Contract Agreement execution.

Nature of Contract: Turnkey EPC contract involving Engineering, Supply of Equipments & Materials, Handling, Erection, Testing, Commissioning, and Civil Construction Works.

Geographic Scope: Domestic execution at Kanpur Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Related Party Status: No promoters, promoter group, directors, or key managerial personnel have any interest in UPPTCL. The contract does not fall under Related Party Transactions under Section 188 of Companies Act, 2013 or Regulation 23 of SEBI Listing Regulations.
