Sagar Cements Ltd has successfully commissioned the balance capacity of 1.55 MW Waste Heat Recovery Power System (WHRS) at its cement manufacturing plant located in Gudipadu village, Ananthapur District, Andhra Pradesh State, India.
With this commissioning, the company's entire 4.35 MW WHRS capacity is now fully operational.
The WHRS commissioning is expected to:
- Enhance energy efficiency
- Optimize power costs
- Contribute towards the company's sustainability initiatives in the manufacturing process
This disclosure follows a previous communication dated 14th May, 2026 regarding the WHRS project.
