Sahasra Semiconductors inaugurated India's first SME-led semiconductor ATMP/OSAT facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, with an investment of over ₹150 crore.
An Electronics Manufacturing Cluster developed by ELCINA over 50.3 acres was also inaugurated, attracting ₹1,200 crore in planned investments from 20 companies.
The semiconductor facility has an annual packaging capacity of 60 million units and exports over 60% of production to global markets including US and Europe.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted India's electronics production growth to ₹13 lakh crore and exports to ₹4.24 lakh crore over 12 years.
