SAIC Unveils World's First AI‑Native Vehicle Concept

SAIC Motor’s Global Design VP Jozef Kaban announced the Roewe JiaYue 07 Concept, the first AI‑native vehicle series co‑created with Volcano Engine.
The concept features Doubao Large Model 2.0 and the industry‑first CPP AI‑native technical architecture under the “Uplift Aesthetics” philosophy.
Kaban, former design director for BMW, Rolls‑Royce and Bugatti Veyron, joined SAIC in 2024, citing China’s scale and creative openness.
Production version of the Roewe JiaYue 07 is slated for public unveiling in June 2026, targeting Chinese family mobility needs.
