Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) appointed Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda as Chairman & Managing Director effective 9th May 2026.
The appointment was made by the Government of India, with Dr. Panda moving from his prior role as Director (Finance) at SAIL.
Dr. Panda brings over three decades of experience in SAIL across technical, commercial, and financial domains with a focus on operational efficiency.
