Sanathan Textiles Limited has submitted a regulatory disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, announcing the commencement of commercial production from its expanded Technical Textiles yarn manufacturing capacity at its Silvassa facility.
The expansion has doubled the company's Technical Textiles yarn capacity from 9,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) to 18,000 MTPA. This brings the total installed capacity across all three yarn verticals (polyester filament yarns, cotton yarn, and yarns for technical textiles) for both manufacturing locations (Silvassa and Punjab) to 488,250 MTPA.
The commercial production commencement is in line with the timeline previously communicated in the company's intimation dated July 23, 2026. The expanded capacity strengthens Sanathan Textiles' integrated manufacturing platform and provides additional capacity to address evolving market requirements across specialized applications.
Technical Textiles is identified as a high-growth segment, with the company's yarns used across multiple applications including automotive, agriculture, defence, infrastructure, roads and railways, sportswear, healthcare, industrial safety applications, and protective/strategic end-uses such as fire-retardant wear.
The company has over three decades of operations and is among the leading yarn manufacturers in India with strategically located manufacturing facilities in Silvassa and Punjab. These facilities feature technologically advanced automated warehousing, transportation, and package handling systems.
Sanathan Textiles maintains a diverse product portfolio with over 3,200 yarn products and nearly 50,000 SKUs, serving over 7,000 customers through 400+ distributors across India and exporting to approximately 27 countries.
