Satva Gold, identified as India’s largest jewellery manufacturer and supplier, entered the direct‑to‑consumer (D2C) segment by launching Jewelchic, a jewellery label dedicated to everyday 9KT real gold pieces. On October 26, 2026, Jewelchic opened its flagship store in Ahmedabad, marking the first step in the brand’s ambition to build a global presence.
Brand Positioning
Jewelchic is built around the concept of “Everyday Chic,” aiming to move gold jewellery beyond special occasions into daily wardrobes. The collections feature contemporary, fashion‑forward designs intended to let customers express personal style across various looks, moods and occasions. Actor Radhika Madan has been appointed as the brand ambassador.
Inauguration Details
The store inauguration was attended by nine distinguished women representing diverse professional backgrounds: celebrity chef Hina Gautam; marketing expert and TEDx speaker Dr. Falguni Vasavada; sustainability educator Pankti Pandey; FICCI FLO Ahmedabad chairperson Usha Jaiswal; healthcare entrepreneur and social impact leader Dr. Twinkle Patel; educationist Rutvi Vyas; social entrepreneur Rekha Adhvarya; and radio jockeys Devaki and Yashvi. Their presence highlighted the brand’s emphasis on individuality and self‑expression.
Founders' Statements
Dhruv Shah, founder of Jewelchic, stated that gold jewellery need not be reserved for weddings or celebrations and that the brand seeks to make 9KT real gold comfortable for everyday wear, with Ahmedabad as the starting point for nationwide and eventual international expansion. Co‑founder Suhani Shah added that the brand aims to make jewellery shopping enjoyable, relaxed and personal, encouraging customers to find pieces that reflect their identity.
Launch Activities
The launch celebrations continued on October 25 with interactive experiences for visitors, including live sketches and caricatures provided by Al Art Gallery and a personalized perfume bar operated by Live Perfume Bar. Attendees could take home custom portraits and create their own fragrances, adding a creative dimension to the event.
