Announcement
Steadfast Business Consulting (SBC), headquartered in Hyderabad, and V&V Group, based in Bengaluru, announced a strategic consolidation of their technology assets and artificial intelligence capabilities into a joint‑venture technology platform. The consolidation merges 14 tax‑technology products and intellectual assets into a common AI‑native integration layer that spans transfer pricing, corporate tax, GST, e‑invoicing, audit, bookkeeping and regulatory compliance.
Combined Scale
The combined businesses serve approximately 1,500–2,000 clients, including more than 350 multinational groups, and employ nearly 500 professionals, of which about 40–50 are chartered accountants and another 40–50 are engineers. The joint‑venture’s technology estate comprises 51 AI agents, of which 44 are currently operational.
Product Portfolio
The integrated portfolio includes SBC’s TP Doc Gen AI (TAIGA), TaxMate, FixTag, SBC Track and ROC Data, together with V&V Group’s GSTZen, WeAudit, DeskAudit, Papilio and the Tidy suite. The AI‑native layer connects these products, streamlines workflows and reduces duplication in technology development, data infrastructure and service delivery.
Leadership Comments
CA Mithilesh Reddy, Founder & Managing Partner of SBC, stated that the combination provides scale and ownership of tools, enabling a globally competitive, Indian‑owned technology enterprise. Vinay Thyagaraj, Co‑founder of V&V Group and GSTZen, highlighted that the joint platform will transform proven India‑built solutions into scalable products for businesses and professional services firms worldwide.
Integration Roadmap
The parties outlined a four‑phase integration roadmap over the next 24 months. Phase 1, covering the first 90 days, focuses on establishing joint technology leadership, a common data infrastructure and an integrated product roadmap. Phase 2 creates cross‑selling opportunities across the combined client base and sets up a shared delivery centre. Phase 3, targeted within 12 months, will launch new offerings such as UAE e‑invoicing, WeAudit AI and TidyBooks AI, the latter integrating invoicing, accounting, financial statements, audit files and transfer‑pricing documentation. Phase 4, by the end of the 24‑month period, aims to expand operations to four to five jurisdictions, with Dubai positioned as a regional hub for the Gulf Cooperation Council market and further development of global VAT and e‑invoicing capabilities.
Business Model
The joint venture will operate a white‑label and subscription‑based delivery model, allowing other professional and consulting firms to access the platform under their own brands. The “build once, deploy everywhere” approach leverages a shared engineering team, unified AI gateway, common data stack and single go‑to‑market strategy to achieve operational efficiencies and enable smaller and mid‑sized firms to adopt advanced technology without building their own infrastructure.
Strategic Objectives
The initiative aims to strengthen India’s position as a global hub for technology‑enabled professional services, export AI‑driven tax and compliance solutions to international markets, and create opportunities for professionals skilled in AI, taxation and regulatory technology.
