Admission Announcement
SCIT has opened enrolment for its MBA (IT Business Management) and MBA (Data Sciences & Data Analytics) programmes for the 2027‑28 academic year, with admission exclusively through the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test 2026.
SNAP Test Details
The SNAP registration fee is INR 2,550 per test (subject to applicable government taxes) and the programme registration fee is INR 1,000 per programme. Registration opened on 21 August 2026 and closes on 25 November 2026. The computer‑based test will be administered on 13, 19 and 26 December 2026 in 79 Indian cities. Candidates may attempt the test up to three times; the highest score is taken with no normalisation. Each objective question carries four options and a 25 % negative marking for incorrect answers. Results are scheduled for 12 January 2027 and the scores will be valid for admission to the 2027‑28 intake.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a recognised university degree with at least 50 % marks (45 % for SC/ST candidates); final‑year students are also eligible. Up to three SNAP attempts are permitted, with the 25 % negative marking applied as described.
Programme Capacity and Placement
The MBA (IT Business Management) programme admits 180 students and has achieved near‑100 % placement, with the highest salary package of ₹30 LPA recorded last year. The MBA (Data Sciences & Data Analytics) programme admits 60 students and recorded a top package of ₹21.77 LPA. Both programmes attract recruiters from more than 150 organisations, including Bain, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Accenture, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce and Goldman Sachs.
