SEVEN announced the commercial launch of its 7 Ring Air contactless payment ring on April 19, 2026, and made it available for purchase on June 16, 2026 at a price of INR 1,477 per unit. The ring is designed to enable secure tap‑to‑pay transactions without the need for a smartphone, wallet, battery or network connection, and works across metro gate systems, retail stores, cafés, restaurants, and fuel stations. According to Vijay Khubchandani, Co‑Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SEVEN, the product is intended to democratize wearable payments by offering an affordable, mass‑market device rather than a luxury item. Early traction has been driven by a mix of direct orders, organic video content and user‑shared moments that highlight the ring’s ability to allow users to glide through metro gates and pay at point‑of‑sale without breaking stride.
