ShepHertz Launches Sovereign AI Platform AgentAnywhere

On 21 August 2026, coinciding with India’s Independence Day, ShepHertz Technologies announced the launch of AgentAnywhere, a sovereign agentic AI platform designed for banks, insurers, hospitals, government departments and BPOs to run AI agents entirely within their own cloud infrastructure, under their own encryption keys and jurisdiction. The platform pairs a suite of Indian‑trained model families with a comprehensive governance layer that masks personal and regulated data before any model processes it, screens each request for prompt‑injection or jailbreak attempts, and records a signed, auditable receipt for every model, tool or agent interaction.

The governance components include Veil, which de‑identifies and masks data; Kavach, an inline security shield that evaluates each request and returns an allow, block or flag verdict; an Agent Universal Gateway that centralises control of all model and tool calls; and Custodian, which maps the platform to SOC 2, ISO 27001 and RBI controls, continuously issuing signed evidence packs. Nothing exits the pipeline without a Trust Receipt documenting the masking, screening, model used and applied policy.

AgentAnywhere is underpinned by seven model families, all trained in India and named in Sanskrit. Taksha, the AI‑engineering and coding model, is generally available. The remaining families—Manthan (general reasoning), Kuber (BFSI), Seva (service operations), Tatva (on‑device/edge), Astra (defence) and Sanjaya (critical telemetry)—will be released through 2026. Each family is offered in Fast, Pro, and Max tiers, all running inside the customer’s VPC under a single governance surface. Astra and Sanjaya are provided on a partner‑scoped basis. During development, two candidate models failed the execution‑graded testing battery and were rejected; the failure results were published alongside the test outcomes.

Complementing the core families, ShepHertz is developing Manthan Vaani, an Indic‑language line, and allows customers to bring their own open‑source models—including Mistral, Qwen, GLM, Gemma, GPT‑OSS and Llama—to run within the same sovereign perimeter, each carrying provenance metadata.

Training data is prepared by Shuddhi, ShepHertz’s sovereign data factory, which cleanses corpora and issues build manifests that are cited in every training run. ShepHertz also operates its own internal workflows—marketing lead generation, RFP responses, contract review and cloud‑cost optimisation—on AgentAnywhere, making the company its first production customer.

CEO Siddhartha Chandurkar stated that regulated enterprises are no longer debating whether to adopt agentic AI but are focused on preventing sensitive data from leaving their control, and that AgentAnywhere closes this gap by embedding sovereignty into the architecture rather than as a post‑deployment add‑on. He highlighted the symbolic timing of the launch on Independence Day as a statement of technological self‑reliance.

Pilot deployments are already underway with enterprise customers ahead of the public launch. AgentAnywhere is now available at agentanywhere.ai.
