Shree Refrigerations Limited (SRL) submitted a press release disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations regarding their supply of mission-critical marine air-conditioning plants for Indian Navy warships.
The company supplied HVAC systems for two of the three warships commissioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22nd June 2026: INS Dunagiri and INS Agray. The commissioning ceremony was held at Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata, which also included the induction of INS Sandhayak.
The systems have been successfully type-tested and commissioned for onboard operational use by the Indian Navy. This marks the second consecutive occasion where SRL has supplied AC plants for two of three naval platforms commissioned together, having previously supplied systems for INS Nilgiri and INS Vaghsheer in January 2025.
According to Chairman and Managing Director Mr. R. G. Shende, this achievement demonstrates Indian manufacturers' capability to deliver complex, mission-critical solutions meeting defense sector requirements and supports the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision of self-reliance.
The company recently inaugurated a new 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility that more than doubles their production capacity, reinforcing their commitment to supporting the Indian Navy and defense ecosystem through indigenous manufacturing.
SRL reported strong operational and financial performance during H2FY26 and FY26, with revenues growing by over 100% year-over-year and half-over-half in H2FY26, and by over 50% year-over-year in FY26. This growth was supported by improved execution capabilities, higher project completion rates, and operating leverage benefits.
The company has approximately 35 years of experience in the refrigeration industry and pivoted to the defense sector less than a decade ago. SRL was publicly listed on the stock exchange on 1st August 2025.
