Signify Launches India's Largest Smart Light Hub

Signify, the global lighting leader (Euronext: LIGHT), inaugurated its biggest Philips Smart Light Hub in India on 11 September 2026 at Kirti Nagar, Delhi NCR. The flagship experience store covers approximately 3,000 sq ft, making it the largest such hub in the country. The opening ceremony was led by Sumit Joshi, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director for Signify Greater India.

The hub showcases the full Philips lighting portfolio across decorative, functional and connected categories. Decorative offerings include chandeliers, wall lights, floor lamps and track lights; functional lighting features modular COBs, downlighters, magnetic tracks, panels and spots. The connected segment is represented by WiZ, Signify’s smart lighting platform, allowing visitors to interact with IoT‑enabled lighting controls.

With this addition, Signify’s retail footprint in India expands to a total of 373 stores nationwide, providing architects, interior designers and consumers a dedicated space to experience lighting solutions that combine design, functionality, personalization and smart technology.

In its 2024 corporate overview, Signify reported worldwide sales of €6.1 billion, employed roughly 29,000 people, and operated in more than 70 countries. The company has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for eight consecutive years and holds an EcoVadis Platinum rating for five straight years, placing it in the top one percent of assessed companies.

The press release notes that the hub is intended to serve as a discovery destination, enabling customers to explore lighting applications and combinations for residential and other projects, and to help the Indian consumer make more informed lighting choices.
