Silver Touch Technologies Limited has been awarded a contract by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), the Government of Gujarat's holding company overseeing generation, transmission, and distribution of power across Gujarat under the state's Energy and Petrochemicals Department.

The contract involves providing comprehensive management and OEM-authorised support of the core IT infrastructure underpinning GUVNL's enterprise systems. This includes support for computer servers, storage systems, SAN-switches, tape library, and backup architecture.

  • Service Level Agreement: 99% application uptime commitment
  • Scope: Domestic contract covering critical infrastructure supporting GUVNL's e-Urja platform, which serves as the ERP backbone connecting the state's electricity generation, transmission, and distribution utilities, serving over one crore consumers

Strategic Significance:

The engagement represents three areas of strategic focus for the company:
