Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated SJVN's 1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project from Pachpadra, Rajasthan on July 4, 2026. The project represents a significant milestone in India's renewable energy journey and reaffirms the nation's commitment toward achieving clean energy and sustainability goals.

- First Year Generation: Approximately 2,454.84 million units (MU)
- 25-Year Operational Life Generation: Approximately 56,482.14 MU of clean energy
- Carbon Emission Reduction: Nearly 2.79 billion kilograms over operational life
Power Distribution
The generated power will be supplied to:
- Rajasthan: 500 MW
- Uttarakhand: 200 MW
- Jammu & Kashmir: 300 MW
Domestic Manufacturing Focus
The project strongly emphasizes Government of India's Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives:
- Domestic Solar Modules: Approximately 24.22 lakh domestically manufactured DCR solar modules
- Indigenous Solar Cells: Approximately 175 crore indigenous solar cells

- Employment Generation: More than 2,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities during construction and commissioning phases
- Ongoing Livelihood Support: Continues to support livelihoods during operational phase
