Agreement Overview
SJVN has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the supply of power from its upcoming hydro electric projects in Himachal Pradesh.
Project Details
The agreements cover three specific hydroelectric projects with a combined capacity of 658 MW:
- 66 MW Dhaulasidh HEP
- 210 MW Luhri Stage-I HEP
- 382 MW Sunni Dam HEP
Signing Ceremony
The Power Purchase Agreements were signed on June 29, 2026, at Vadodara, Gujarat. The signatories were:
- Sh. Aman Katoch, General Manager (C&SO), SJVN
- Sh. Sanjay Mathur, General Manager (Commerce), GUVNL
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organizations.

These agreements strengthen SJVN's portfolio of long-term power sale arrangements with leading power utilities across the country. The PPAs reinforce SJVN's position as a key contributor to India's transition toward a cleaner, greener and more resilient energy future.
