Project K2K Completion
On 9 July 2026, from Mumbai, Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company®, issued a press release celebrating the successful conclusion of Project K2K. Ultra‑endurance athlete Kartik Joshi completed a historic run from the Kargil War Memorial to the southern tip of India at Kanyakumari, covering more than 4,200 kilometres in 67 days. The journey traversed high‑altitude mountain roads, highways, urban landscapes and varied weather conditions, showcasing the physical and mental resilience required for such an undertaking.
During the expedition, Joshi wore Skechers Performance footwear, primarily the Skechers AERO Burst® and Skechers AERO Spark® models, which he credited for providing the comfort, cushioning and support needed throughout the trek. In his statement, Joshi said crossing the finish line was “difficult to put into words,” emphasizing the daily challenges and the role of Skechers AERO Series shoes in keeping him moving.
