Partnership Overview

On 11 June 2026, at the International IRSE Convention and Exhibition 2026 in New Delhi, Skylark Drones, described as India’s leading worksite governance and asset intelligence company, and e2E Rail, a leading railway systems integrator and engineering solutions provider, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the application of AI‑powered asset intelligence, geospatial technologies and digital infrastructure monitoring across railway infrastructure projects.

Objectives and Technologies

The MoU outlines a joint evaluation of aerial surveillance and corridor monitoring, as well as LiDAR and photogrammetry‑based mapping, to generate high‑accuracy infrastructure intelligence. Combined with AI‑driven analytics, these capabilities aim to support asset monitoring, infrastructure assessment and predictive maintenance, thereby enabling railway stakeholders to make faster, more informed decisions.

Statements from Leadership

Mughilan T R, CEO and Co‑founder of Skylark Drones, said that the increasing complexity of railway infrastructure makes timely access to accurate intelligence essential, and that the partnership offers an opportunity to advance new approaches to visibility, monitoring and decision‑making. Sourajit Mukherjee, Director and CEO of e2E Rail, highlighted that precise monitoring, assessment and maintenance are central to operational performance and safety, and that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to intelligent solutions for the railway sector.

Capabilities of the Partners

Skylark Drones provides AI‑powered drone intelligence, geospatial analytics and enterprise software platforms, notably its DMO and Spectra platforms, which are used by more than 175 enterprises—including Fortune 500 companies—across mining, renewable energy, railways, construction and utilities. e2E Rail brings end‑to‑end capabilities in signalling and telecommunications, track infrastructure, railway electrification, system integration and turnkey railway projects, with operations spanning India and international markets.

Future Outlook

Both organisations will undertake a structured evaluation of applicable use cases, technology requirements and integration pathways, reflecting a broader industry shift toward digital transformation where actionable data, intelligent analytics and domain‑specific engineering expertise work together to improve safety, efficiency and asset performance.
