Facility Details

Snowman Logistics Limited is establishing a new temperature-controlled warehouse facility in Hyderabad with a capacity of 10,000 pallets. The facility is being developed under the asset light Built-to-Suit (BTS) model, and construction has now commenced.

Technical Specifications and Timeline

The facility will cater to a temperature zone range of -25℃ to +20℃. It is scheduled to become operational by Q2 next year (Q2 2027).

Location and Market Context

The facility is located along the NH-44 corridor in Hyderabad's northern logistics belt. This area has seen rising demand for temperature-controlled storage driven by growth in multiple sectors including seafood, ice cream, QSR (Quick Service Restaurants), fruits & vegetables, and pharmaceuticals.

Strategic Rationale

According to Ishaan Gupta, Director of Snowman Logistics, Hyderabad represents an important market for the company. The existing capacity in the region is 6,800 pallets, and this new addition of 10,000 pallets will strengthen the company's presence in emerging consumption centers across Andhra and Telangana. The strategic location provides excellent connectivity for efficient regional distribution.

Capacity Expansion Impact

This expansion reinforces Snowman's commitment to strengthening its cold chain network across key consumption and production hubs. With an existing capacity of 154,319 pallets across 21 cities, this new facility marks another milestone in the company's growth trajectory, bringing the total capacity to over 164,000 pallets.
