Commissioner Secretary Mandeep Kaur described the Building Permission portal as “the first‑of‑its‑kind initiative in the country,” emphasizing its ability to combine automation, spatial intelligence and regulatory compliance. Chairman and Managing Director Vijay Gupta stated that the solution marks a significant milestone in India’s digital urban governance journey and is expected to improve efficiency, transparency and speed of urban development approvals.
