SoftTech Engineers Marks 30 Years of Digital Leadership in AECO
SoftTech Engineers Limited (SEL), a pioneer in Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Operations (AECO) technology and e‑governance solutions, celebrated its 30‑year anniversary on August 11, 2026. Chairman and Managing Director Vijay Gupta highlighted the company’s role in reshaping urban governance and infrastructure development through AI‑driven digital platforms.
Since its founding in 1996, SoftTech’s AI‑powered Civit Suite has digitally processed more than two million building permits and facilitated approvals for over thirty billion square feet of built‑up area. The suite is trusted by more than 1,500 government agencies, enterprises and organisations, serving a community of over four lakh (400,000) users across India and international markets.
The firm employs over 550 technology and domain professionals and has modernised urban governance in more than 18 Indian states, enabling authorities to issue, on average, one building permit every five minutes through intelligent automation. By replacing manual processes with AI‑driven workflows, SoftTech’s solutions have reduced approval timelines by up to seventy percent and have helped infrastructure organisations accelerate project delivery by up to twenty‑five percent while optimising costs and improving visibility.
Recent innovations include CivitTWIN for AI‑powered compliance simulation, the Digital e‑TDR Exchange for transparent Transferable Development Rights management, and CivitINFRA, a BIM‑enabled infrastructure monitoring platform. CivitINFRA was selected by the Airports Authority of India for a landmark digital transformation initiative valued at ₹17.16 crore.
