Appointment of Independent Director and Head of Strategic Initiatives
Solinas Integrity Private Limited, an IIT Madras‑incubated deep‑tech company founded in 2018 and headquartered at the IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai, announced two senior leadership appointments. The board has appointed Gangapriya Chakraverti, currently India Site Head and Managing Director of Ford Business Solutions, as an Independent Director. Ms Chakraverti brings more than three decades of experience in human resources, organisational development and large‑scale operations at the multinational level. She leads Ford’s Global Business Services centre in Chennai, which employs over 12,000 staff, and joined Ford in 2012 after a ten‑year tenure at Mercer Consulting. She holds a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. In her statement, she expressed honour in joining Solinas and highlighted the company’s AI and deep‑tech robotics focus on urban underground infrastructure.
The company also appointed Sunil Gupta as Head of Strategic Initiatives. Mr Gupta previously served as CEO of SEForge and has worked with auto OEMs Tata Motors and Ford as well as industrial firms Dürr and SEForge, accumulating roughly 40 years of experience in world‑class manufacturing and business leadership. He indicated his focus will be on strengthening Solinas’ manufacturing and operational capabilities as the firm scales.
Divanshu Kumar, Co‑founder and CEO of Solinas Integrity, remarked that the transition from proving technology to national and global scaling makes the strength of the leadership team as critical as the engineering.
Solinas’ product portfolio includes the Endobot, Homosep (a manhole cleaning robot), and Swasth AI analytics platform, which are deployed for water‑pipeline, sewer‑pipeline, storm‑water‑pipeline and industrial‑pipeline inspection and cleaning. The solutions are currently operational in more than 15 Indian states and over 30 cities, as well as in the Middle East, with ongoing expansion into Southeast Asia and Europe.
In August 2026, Solinas raised USD 5.5 million in a Series A1 financing round led by Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures and co‑led by Mela Ventures.
