Sonalika Records Best‑Ever July Overall Sales of 11,442 Tractors
On 3 August 2026, International Tractors Limited – the maker of the Sonalika tractor brand – announced that it achieved its highest‑ever July sales, delivering a total of 11,442 tractors across India. The company reported a 27.2 % increase in domestic sales compared with the same month in the previous fiscal year, an industry‑leading growth rate that outperformed the overall domestic tractor industry by a factor of 1.3 times. This performance also made Sonalika the biggest market‑share gainer in the Indian tractor market for the month.
Joint Managing Director Raman Mittal said the results reflect the firm’s farmer‑centric approach, noting a clear shift in demand toward higher‑horse‑power tractors as farmers prepare for the upcoming kharif sowing season and the festive period. He added that the company remains focused on providing efficient, reliable and technology‑enabled tractors to meet the growing needs of growers.
