Sonalika Tractors Announces Record Q1 FY’27 Sales
Sonalika Tractors, India’s No.1 tractor export brand, reported that it sold 53,661 tractors in the first quarter of FY’27 (April‑June 2026), marking its highest ever Q1 volume. This represents a 23.1% year‑on‑year increase, surpassing the industry‑wide growth estimate of 18.3% and establishing Sonalika as the leading market‑share gainer in the domestic market for the period.
The company also highlighted that it crossed the 50,000‑tractor sales milestone within just three months of the fiscal year, underscoring the rapid uptake of its offerings. A key driver of this momentum is the newly launched Sonalika Gold Tractor series, which features a 3,532 cc three‑cylinder engine and performance‑oriented specifications aimed at enhancing farmer profitability during the Kharif season.
Sonalika attributes its success to its world’s largest integrated tractor manufacturing plant, supported by global R&D capabilities and sustained precision‑engineering investments, enabling it to act as a “one‑stop solution partner” for farmers worldwide. The firm operates in more than 150 countries, is listed among India’s Fortune 500 companies, and celebrates 30 years of empowering farmers and advancing India’s presence in global farm mechanisation.
In remarks, Mr Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Limited, said the company is proud of crossing the 50,000‑tractor mark and achieving the record Q1 sales, emphasizing the commitment to “raise the benchmark for what is possible in Indian agriculture” and confirming readiness to support uninterrupted farm operations as Q2 FY’27 commences.
