Placement Summary

All 365 participants of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Class of 2028 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) secured summer internships, achieving a 100% placement rate. The median monthly stipend increased 17% year‑on‑year to ₹2 lakhs, while the average stipend rose 12% to ₹1.86 lakhs per month. The top 50% of the batch received an average stipend of ₹2.18 lakhs (up 9%), and the top 20% averaged ₹2.44 lakhs (up 13%). The highest offer was ₹3 lakhs per month, representing a 20% increase from the previous year’s ₹2.5 lakhs.

A total of 91 companies participated in the internship cycle, of which 37 were first‑time recruiters. First‑time recruiters included Amgen, Bajaj Auto, Britannia, Citi, D.E. Shaw & Co, Danone, DBS, Flipkart, Galderma, IBM, IDFC FIRST Bank, Kenvue, Kotak, NeoLiv, o3 Capital, SKF, Warner Bros., and Axis Bank. Sector‑wise, FMCG and Consumer roles accounted for 33.1% of placements, Consulting 23.5%, BFSI 20.2%, General Management and Conglomerate 7.6%, Technology/E‑Commerce/Product 5%, and the remaining 10.6% spanned Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Media, Energy, Real Estate, Engineering, Healthcare, and Biotech.

Prof. Varun Nagaraj, Dean of SPJIMR, said, "An internship is a student's first real conversation with the world of work.
