SPJIMR FT Masters in Management 2026 Ranking Overview

S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), a Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan institution, announced that it has risen nine places in the Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) 2026 global ranking, now positioned at #26 worldwide and #2 in India, improving from #35 globally and #3 in India in the 2025 edition. This placement marks SPJIMR’s seventh consecutive year among the world’s top 50 business schools and makes it the second‑highest ranked Indian school, behind IIM Bangalore and ahead of IIM Ahmedabad.

The institute retained the #1 spot in India across four FT MiM categories: Careers Service (global rank #2, up from #3), Alumni Network (global rank #6, up from #11), Value for Money (global rank #50, up from #56) and ESG and Net Zero Teaching (global rank #28, up from #63). These rankings reflect strong performance in career outcomes, alumni engagement, programme affordability and sustainability‑focused teaching.

Student and alumni feedback yielded an overall satisfaction score of 9.6 out of 10, indicating high participant sentiment toward the programme experience and perceived value.

The 2026 FT MiM ranking featured 14 Indian business schools, an increase from 11 in 2025, underscoring growing global representation of Indian institutions. SPJIMR is also recognised in the Financial Times Global MBA 2026 ranking at #74 globally for its PGPM programme and holds the international Triple Crown accreditations (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA).

Dean Varun Nagaraj commented that the ranking reflects sustained gains in career outcomes, alumni engagement and programme value, and affirmed the institute’s focus on strengthening placement support and learning depth.
