SRF Doubles Capex to ₹2,285 Crores for Refrigerants

SRF Limited's Board approved a revised capital expenditure of ₹2,285 crores, more than doubling the initial outlay for its fourth-generation refrigerant project.
The enhanced project scope includes setting up 20,000 MTPA HFOs and 30,000 MTPA AHF plants with forward integration into VHF products at Gopalpur, Odisha.
The project, to be financed via debt and internal accruals, is strategically aimed at strengthening SRF's position in the integrated fluorochemical value chain.
The revised capex project has a targeted completion date of February 28, 2028, as per the regulatory filing with BSE and NSE.
