SRM Energy Limited has made a disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The company received an intimation from Spice Energy Private Limited informing that it has written off, in full, the outstanding loan amount of ₹3,57,40,630.70 (Three Crore Fifty-Seven Lakh Forty Thousand Six Hundred Thirty and Seventy Paise) that was previously advanced to SRM Energy Limited.
As a consequence of this write-off, the stated liability will stand extinguished in the books of accounts of SRM Energy Limited. The company will account for this transaction in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
