SRM University-AP Launches India's First Quantum Facility

SRM University-AP inaugurated India's first Quantum Reference Facility, capable of testing up to 100 qubit processes, on World Quantum Day.
The facility was launched by Andhra Pradesh Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and attended by officials, scientists from DRDO, IITs, and startup founders.
Built in under eight months with seven partners, the Amaravati Quantum Valley Project delivers architecture (Amaravati 1S & 1Q) and a testbed.
Officials said the facility will boost self‑reliance, deep‑tech startup ecosystem and position Andhra Pradesh among the world’s leading quantum research hubs.
