Announcement
STARTRADER announced on 21 September 2026 from Port Louis, Mauritius that it has introduced 49 new 24/7 stock and ETF contracts for difference (CFDs) on its MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform. The CFDs will be available continuously from 00:00 to 24:00 GMT+3, Monday through Sunday, subject to scheduled maintenance.
Product Coverage
The new lineup comprises 30 United States‑listed stocks, 14 exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) and five foreign shares quoted in U.S. dollars. Among the U.S. additions are SK Hynix (ticker SKHYUSD) and Super Micro Computer (SMCIUSD), both linked to artificial‑intelligence memory and server demand, thereby extending Korean supply‑chain exposure alongside U.S. megacap names. Eleven of the fourteen ETFs are leveraged single‑stock or sector products, including Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X (SOXLUSD) and Direxion Daily Micron Bull 2X (MUUUSD).
International Shares
The five foreign‑share CFDs give investors access to markets that are otherwise difficult to trade directly. They include GigaDevice from the China A‑share market, Pop Mart and Tencent from Hong Kong, and Samsung Electronics (SAMSUNGUSD) and Hyundai from South Korea. Samsung is offered as the Korea‑listed share rather than as a depositary receipt.
Pricing Considerations
All CFDs are denominated in U.S. dollars while the underlying securities trade in their native currencies, so movements in exchange rates will affect the CFD position in addition to the underlying price change. For the Chinese A‑share instruments, daily price limits apply; if an underlying security reaches its limit or is suspended, the corresponding CFD’s pricing and execution may be impacted.
Executive Comment
Peter Karsten, Chief Executive Officer of STARTRADER, stated: “We do not add symbols to look comprehensive. The test is whether a client would otherwise be left holding a view they have no way to act on, and across these 49, that test was easy to answer.”
