Steelbird Helmets Announces ‘Falcon’s Ride’ Expedition

On 18 September 2026, Steelbird Helmets issued a press release from New Delhi detailing a new adventure initiative titled “Steelbird Helmets Falcon’s Ride.” The expedition is a 12‑day motorcycle journey that begins at the company’s manufacturing plant in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, and culminates at Umling La in the Himalayas, a mountain pass situated at an altitude of 19,024 feet.

The ride will feature 25 experienced riders selected from across India. The planned route takes participants from Baddi to Manali, then to Jispa, Padum, Leh, and Pangong, before ascending to Umling La. After reaching the summit, the convoy will retrace its path through Hanle, Leh, Jispa and Manali, finally returning to Baddi, thereby completing a full circular circuit that links the brand’s manufacturing origins with one of the most challenging riding terrains in the country.

Beyond the riding challenge, the expedition incorporates a series of cultural and recreational activities. Participants will experience a Steelbird Helmets Plant Experience and bike handover at the Baddi facility, live music performances, karaoke sessions, road storytelling, cultural celebrations and bonfire evenings at various stops, providing opportunities for camaraderie and immersion in local traditions.

Mr. Kashish Kapur, Director of Steelbird Helmets Hi‑Tech India, stated that the ride is intended to celebrate the spirit of motorcycling, emphasizing that the journey is not merely about reaching Umling La but about the challenges, friendships, landscapes and memories created along the way. He highlighted the symbolic significance of starting the expedition from the Baddi plant, noting that it connects the brand’s heritage with the extraordinary Himalayan destination.
