Sterling Tools entered a Technical Collaboration and Supply Agreement with China's Nanjing Haohang to localize ARAS for India's two-wheeler market.
The partnership combines Haohang's global ARAS technology with Sterling's understanding of Indian road conditions and automotive market.
ARAS systems provide real-time hazard alerts and assistance, similar to car ADAS, to address India's high two-wheeler accident rates.
The collaboration has already tested features like Front Collision Warning and Blind Spot Detection on Indian roads.
