  • Experience: Brings over 29 years of cross-functional experience in data center project management, critical engineering, facilities management, and turnaround operations
  • Previous Role: Head of Delivery and Design (DC Infrastructure) at Colt Datacenter Services
  • Key Achievements: Spearheaded major hyperscale projects including a 63 MW + 63 MW data center initiative for Amazon in Mumbai and Chennai. Successfully delivered over 200MW+ in data center capacity for hyperscalers and enterprise customers while maintaining a 100% track record of infrastructure uptime.
  • Education: Holds a 3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from K.J. Somaiya Polytechnic, has completed PMP coursework, and is pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
  • Focus Areas: Will focus on scaling the company's data center capacity, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving high operational efficiency with a strong track record of driving sustainable infrastructure development and budget optimization.

Appointment Details - Mr. Gaurav Barjatiya

  • Role: Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, designated as Senior Management Personnel
  • Effective Date: October 16, 2026
  • Employment Type: Full-time employment
  • Experience: Brings close to 17 years of experience in building and scaling businesses across IT infrastructure, digital infrastructure and technology services
  • Previous Role: Served at NCC Limited where he played a pivotal role in creating and scaling new business opportunities across digital infrastructure and technology services
  • Key Achievements: Contributed to the development of an order book exceeding ₹10,000 crore at NCC Limited. This appointment marks his return to the Sterlite Group, where he spent over 13 years in progressively senior roles spanning business analytics, strategy and alliances, business development and sales.
  • Sector Experience: Worked with marquee public-sector and enterprise customers across power, transport and IT sectors, contributing to large-scale technology and digital infrastructure programmes spanning Bharatnet, Data Centers, Smart Cities, Safe Cities and other emerging digital infrastructure initiatives.
  • Focus Areas: Will focus on accelerating the Company's growth trajectory, developing new customer segments, strengthening strategic partnerships and driving sustainable, profitable growth across its technology businesses.
