Stora Enso agreed to sell three German box plants to Prinzhorn, transferring 240 million m³ (≈125,000 t) corrugated capacity.
The assets represent 13% of Stora Enso’s total corrugated capacity (1,840 million m³) and generated €74 million sales in 2025.
Prinzhorn’s German capacity will rise from 160 million to 400 million m³, about 3% of the German market.
No financial terms of the transaction were disclosed.
