Stryker announced the launch of Mako 4 SmartRobotics™ in India, introducing the fourth generation of its Mako robotic‑arm assisted joint replacement system to the Indian market.

Technology Overview

Mako 4 combines patient‑specific planning, robotic technology and haptic guidance in a single platform. It employs 3‑dimensional CT‑based planning together with AccuStop™ haptic technology to deliver real‑time intra‑operative guidance. The system supports three clinical applications: Mako Total Knee, Mako Partial Knee and Mako Total Hip, and is capable of handling both advanced primary and revision procedures.
