Stryker and Max Smart Hospital, Saket formed a partnership to create a training centre for robotic‑arm joint replacement in India.
The centre will provide hands‑on surgeon training, clinical education and promote standardized, technology‑enabled orthopaedic care amid rising arthritis burden in India.
Leaders including Max Healthcare’s Abhay Soi and Stryker’s John Collings and Aman Rishi said the initiative will bridge skill gaps and scale robotic surgery nationwide.
Stryker noted its broader Asia‑Pacific push to expand robotics‑assisted surgical capability and meet growing demand for joint replacements.
