ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (India) launches Rajasthan’s first high‑performance data centre

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (India) (STT GDC India), a leading AI‑ready co‑location provider and majority‑owned subsidiary of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres Singapore, announced the launch of STT Jaipur 1 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The new facility is the state’s first enterprise‑grade, high‑performance data centre, built to support AI‑driven innovation, cloud adoption and data‑intensive enterprise workloads.

The centre is purpose‑designed with an IT design capacity of 6 MW and a total power load of 10 MVA. It occupies a three‑storey building on a campus of 5,971 square metres. By adding this site, STT GDC India expands its national footprint to 10 cities, operating 34 data centres (including those under development) with a combined 613 MW of critical IT load.

Chief Executive Officer Mr. Bimal Khandelwal stated that the launch reflects a strategic investment in Rajasthan’s digital future, noting that the region is emerging as a hub for technology‑led investment and that the centre will enable enterprises, cloud providers and public‑sector organisations to scale securely and efficiently. He emphasized that the facility aligns with the company’s commitment to achieve carbon‑neutral data‑centre operations by 2030 and to advance ESG, safety, ethics, integrity and inclusion goals.

STT GDC India serves a diversified customer base that includes numerous Fortune 500 companies, delivering mission‑critical solutions with high uptime and service quality.
