Announcement
STTGDC announced that Neysa, an India‑based AI cloud company founded in 2023 and backed by Blackstone, will deploy its Velocis AI cloud platform and GPU infrastructure at STTGDC’s Noida 2 data centre.
Deployment Details
The first phase of the multi‑year partnership will support up to 9,000 GPUs, designed for high‑density AI training and inference workloads. The deployment is scheduled to become operational in the first quarter of calendar year 2027. It will enable Indian enterprises, startups and global compute customers to run production AI workloads in India with predictable latency and data‑residency compliance.
Capacity and Infrastructure
STTGDC manages more than 613 MW of critical IT load across 34 facilities (including those under development) in ten Indian cities, representing one of the country’s largest white‑space portfolios. The Noida facility will accommodate the power, cooling and operational requirements of next‑generation AI workloads.
Strategic Significance
Bimal Khandelwal, CEO‑India of STTGDC, stated that India’s AI ambitions depend on both compute access and supporting digital infrastructure, and that the collaboration will help enterprises move from experimentation to real‑world AI applications. Sharad Sanghi, CEO of Neysa, emphasized the need for capacity planning, reliable operations and scalability, and described the joint deployment as part of a long‑term strategy to serve Indian and global customers.
