Sudha Reddy debuted the 'Tree of Life' couture at Met Gala 2026, created with 90 artisans over 3,459 hours.
Designed by Manish Malhotra and stylist Mariel Haenn, it draws on Machilipatnam Kalamkari, featuring a 7‑meter trail and brass‑copper‑silver vines.
The look was paired with a $15 million sapphire‑tanzanite jewelry set, including a 550‑carat tanzanite 'Queen of Merelani' and 23‑carat diamonds.
Reddy emphasized showcasing South Indian craftsmanship globally, positioning heritage as a living art form through high‑fashion platforms.
