Sugee Group announced the launch of Sugee Lake District, a 52‑acre waterfront development in Thane West, situated opposite Korum Mall near Cadbury Junction in Khopat and fronting the Eastern Express Highway. Design and Sustainability
The project has been registered under LEED, underscoring its focus on environmentally responsible design and resource efficiency. Architectural design is led by Padma Bhushan‑award‑winning architect Hafeez Contractor, with Sterling acting as structural consultant and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) providing peer review.
Connectivity
Located near Cadbury Junction with highway frontage, the district benefits from proximity to Thane’s established residential neighbourhoods, business districts, retail destinations and civic infrastructure. Connectivity is further enhanced by the expanding metro network, the Borivali–Thane Twin Tunnel, Thane Coastal Road, a proposed bullet‑train station, the redeveloped Thane railway station and the Thane Integral Ring Metro. Regional links include the Samruddhi and Mumbai–Vadodara expressways, the Virar–Alibaug Multimodal Corridor, the Goregaon–Mulund Link Road, the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor and easy access to the international airport.
