Sula Vineyards signed a definitive agreement to acquire Chandon's 19-acre wine estate in Dindori, Nashik from Moet Hennessy India Private Limited.
The estate has a wine production capacity of 4.5 lakh litres per annum, scalable to 13 lakh litres, plus a visitor centre and banquet facility.
The asset purchase (land, building, winemaking infrastructure; excludes brand assets) will be executed via subsidiary Artisan Spirits Private Limited, closing by Q1 FY27.
Post-acquisition, Chandon will cease India wine production; Sula will market wines from the estate under its own portfolio.
