Sunfraa Green Energy Secures Adani Solar Deal
On 21 September 2026, Sunfraa Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., a Gujarat‑based renewable energy distributor, announced its third authorised channel partnership with Adani Solar, this time for the Varanasi market in Uttar Pradesh. The partnership follows earlier channel agreements in Ahmedabad‑Vijapur and Rajkot, and is intended to strengthen the availability of Adani Solar modules and support the development of the rooftop solar ecosystem in Varanasi.
The launch programme in Varanasi brought together local solar dealers, distributors, entrepreneurs and business owners. Company representatives highlighted the need for a stronger local network to improve awareness, access to reliable products and trusted installation support for households considering rooftop solar.
Sunfraa’s co‑founders—Hamit Patwa, Naman Nagarsheth, Eshan Cholia, Shivam Vekaria and Kalpesh Solanki—stated that Varanasi has significant potential for rooftop solar adoption and that the partnership aims to make the transition to solar simpler and more accessible, aligning with the Government of India’s “PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana”. The scheme targets installation of rooftop solar systems in one crore households with an overall outlay of ₹75,021 crore.
Sunfraa currently serves more than 400 companies in Gujarat and 200 companies in Uttar Pradesh, and the Varanasi channel adds another distribution route for Adani Solar modules as demand for distributed renewable energy grows.
The company reiterated that the Varanasi expansion is part of its broader focus on supporting India’s transition to renewable energy and on building a stronger solar ecosystem across the country.
