Funding Announcement

Superleap, an enterprise AI CRM platform based in Bangalore, announced a pre‑Series A financing round of INR 36 crore (approximately USD 4.3 million) led by Peak XV’s Surge. The capital will be used to expand its enterprise go‑to‑market operations, accelerate product development, and strengthen platform capabilities as it builds an AI‑native CRM category in India.

Founders and background: The company was founded in 2024 by former Unacademy operators Subham Kumar Boundia, Alok Maurya and Saurabh Maheshwari, who previously built an in‑house sales system at Unacademy and later founded Altworld, a venture also backed by Peak XV’s Surge.

Growth and customers: Superleap has grown ten‑fold over the past twelve months and now serves enterprises across BFSI, SaaS, education, healthcare and travel. Notable customers include Razorpay, Aakash Education, MediBuddy, HCL GUVI, Cars24, PagarBook, Plum, Qube Cinema and Superhealth.

Deployment highlights: Razorpay migrated more than 10 million data records to Superleap in 45 days with zero business disruption. Aakash Education transitioned roughly 5 000 counsellors across 400 locations in 60 days, achieving a five‑fold acceleration in change management and reducing sales‑technology costs by over 50 %.

Product architecture: The platform operates on a three‑layer architecture—SuperOS (unified data platform), SuperSense (customer‑intelligence layer) and SuperAgents (agentic automation layer)—and incorporates AI voice bots, conversational intelligence, omnipresent AI and integrations with WhatsApp, Slack, MS Teams, Claude, ChatGPT and others. Deployments are guaranteed within two months with zero‑disruption migration, backed by an in‑house team of Forward Deployed Engineers.

Investor base: In addition to the lead investor Surge, existing shareholders include Gruhas, Supermorpheus Group and a group of angel investors such as Deepinder Goyal, Kunal Shah, Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini, Anupam Mittal, Mukesh Bansal, Nikhil Kamath, Aakrit Vaish, Tanmay Bhat, Hemesh Singh, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Sumer Juneja, Sarthak Misra, Scott Shleifer and others.

CEO comment: Subham Kumar Boundia said the ambition is to make companies love their CRM again, emphasizing that AI adoption requires a change in the core system of record and that the new funding will accelerate product development, enterprise expansion and customer service standards.

Customer testimonials: Razorpay’s VP of Product, Tejas Gowda, praised the platform’s generative AI capabilities and rapid implementation; Cars24’s Siddarth Khandelwal highlighted speed of execution and AI‑driven lead prioritization; Aakash Education’s CBO office representative Shikhar Singh noted the unified sales ecosystem created by migrating from Salesforce.
