New Contract Awards
Pursuant to the strategic restructuring of GCM Division (formerly SCD), the company has been awarded multiple new contracts across its Matamoros (Mexico), Morocco, China, and India plants. In May 2026 alone, the GCM division secured material new contracts worth approximately USD 12 million per year with an estimated lifetime value of USD 75 million.
Key contract wins include:
- Largest-ever EV cable contract with a North American auto major worth USD 5.25 million per year, with a lifetime value of USD 37 million, for the Matamoros Mexico plant
- European luxury OEM contract worth USD 2 million per year, with a lifetime value of USD 12 million
- Japanese OEM contract worth USD 1.2 million per year, with a lifetime value of USD 6 million
- Additional wins from a leading Chinese EV manufacturer and other new customers
These awards validate GCM's multi-geography supply chain footprint and its acceptance among global OEM customers.
Customer Recognitions
SAL and SED divisions received awards in May 2026:
- GM "Supplier Quality Excellence Award" for ramping up a record contract
- M&M "Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Award" for SED's e-throttle programme, which delivered rare-earth free throttles in record time
Facility Update
An advanced testing facility for braking products was inaugurated on June 1, 2026.
